Pros: Back-to-back pairing was easy, though it did not configure everything to my liking. In this case, I needed to put a receipt printer away from the point of sale terminal that drives it, with no available path for cable.

The point of sale application could not determine the status of the printer and would not print to it, assuming it was offline.

I tried adapters, wiring up my own connectors, every possible setting. I could talk to the printer via telnet, but could not get the applicaiton to play nice. Overall Review: Decent devices if the application fits; if you need the full serial spec, try something else. Range is pretty good.

Easy to setup, book is well thought out as well. Cons: Dipswitches should be marked which is on and which is off, but other than that, it's fine. Overall Review: Surprised it worked with Reliable Controls, but if it loads as a serial port, why wouldn't it work? Pros: Nice device for creating wireless print servers and such. Would recommend it to anyone using it to get rid of network cables.
